Thank you! I’m glad you liked it!

Dunno, I found the level 4 to be pretty straightforward. Good level design, having the important objects in red on a monochrome background is very clever.

Thank you so much for playing and posting your score! I hope you enjoy the upcoming levels!

I dig it. Good controls. Cute graphics. Needs some music maybe but nothing Spotify can't fix.... https://open.spotify.com/track/4XGQUYPYfHpCMrO8BKOk5F?si=908c2073680949cf

Perfect. lol

Ok ya maybe level 4 should be level 6 or something. That or I'm just bad.

I've had a few people with issues on level 4. I'll see if there is a way for me to make the flower platforms more visible. Thanks for the input; it really helps me out.

Ah I missed something obvious didn't I? I was thinking it was a super tight wall jump sort of thing.

Don’t feel too bad. A lot of people missed it.

I absolutely love this song. I played a few times with it playing! Great choice!

Glad you enjoyed it :D

I’ve added a temporary song to hold over until my buddy, Brady, makes the music for it. We are planning on having it be a full soundtrack that will be purchasable on his page.

i dont know the controls

I will post a description including them. It is the arrow keys only.

WASD, W is jump

For me, it's the arrow keys. I have also noticed that if hardware acceleration is active on PCs it runs at like 1.5x speed, making it much more difficult. I may add a note in the description to warn for that.

Oh I might be confused. I use a 60% keyboard so arrow keys are either Fn+WASD, or I can switch into a mode that makes them into perma-arrow keys. I may have been in that mode at the time lol

The creator of the engine, Lobster, is adding WASD integration. If you are interested in the engine, he has a discord that is link on the Pocket Platformer page.

Can't wait for more levels.

I have 7 more  incoming!

Hey like it a lot! I would just add music n increase the jump to a solid 3 blocks, its currently just under three blocks n it can make some situations confusin

Thanks! I'll check out the jumping. The engine Upward was made in, Pocket Platformer doesn't have the ability to upload music yet, but they are working on it! I will be adding this song to the game:

I hope you like the new levels coming up!

Definitely agree with Shaq, the difficulty spike on level 4 is a bit much. However, extremely cute and well polished game! Definitely top 3 I've played from the jam so far.

I'll see what I can do about level 4. Thanks for trying it! I'm adding 7 new levels soon!

Good Job Nice Game Love the graphics gameplay nice and simple puzzle with platform mechanics

Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

What a fun little game, great job.

I love the simple art style. The animations, the dust cloud when you jump, the level transitions, and the sounds all produced a good game feel for me. Headbutting the animated buttons to toggle on/off the platforms also added a nice and engaging puzzle element.

The sudden difficulty spike on level 4 seemed a bit out of place due to the advanced climbing technique that needs to be figured out, and it took me about 20x longer to complete than the levels before and after it. Also, having both Arrow and WASD controls would be greatly appreciated.

I rarely play jam games through to the finish, but the simple charm, sound mechanics, and polish kept me going to the end. I even had to come back and play through a few more times.

Keep up the good work.

Thank you! I took your advice about making it playable in browser! I appreciate the kind words. I will see if Pocket Platformer has WASD capabilities and will update accordingly. Thanks for playing my first video game! I hope you enjoyed it, and I look forward to seeing what your lowest time is.

I tried to go for a speedrun, but the wall on level 4 gave me a mini anxiety attack and I had to exit out.

Can't wait to see what new levels and new games you come up with

I have 7 new levels coming soon that I hope you'll enjoy! I think you may notice some "looping" in the design.  As for level 4, would you mind sending me a screenshot of of the area you are struggling with. I would be more than happy to take a second look at the level and patch any issues. A few people have had the same issue. Thanks so much for your help!
